OUR OBJECTIVES
"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples”
John 13:35 NLT
Expansion Of Religion Through The Act of Giving Back
Our objectives within the act of giving back are simple. We as a non-profit organization are hoping to help the under-resourced, under-valued, and overlooked population of Seattle; in particular the homeless population. Through the acts of monthly projects catering food drives and volunteering in these spaces catered to people of low-income households we want to impact world positivity.
Food drives, Donations, volunteering( with our 160 members) in spaces catered to Seattle homeless population, healthy food cookage, and establishing a name for Christianity in these settings are objectives we as an organization are in hopes of. With our unsaid message of “ Giving Back in Lord's name” we will be spreading hope, divine, and acts of charity within the borders of Seattle, and we are committed, and driven in this very idea.
Building Relationships Within Non-Profit Organizations
As a start-up non-profit organization we are in no means successful in obtaining our objectives. In building these relationships within related non-profit organizations we wish to:
Encourage additional donations
Grow individual donation amounts
Grow total donation revenue on both sides
Encourage and promote Volunteering within settings
In hopes of growing our revenue which will work to support Seattle-Homeless Population we as an organization are committed to building these networks. In return, we have 160 members committed to volunteering within these non-profits. Our notable partners are the White Center Food Bank, Burien Food Bank, Mary’s Place Homeless Shelter..and so many organizations are whom we deeply thank.
Stability Within Our Religion Borders
Christianity, but, in particular Orthodox are believers in the act of giving back. However, as a practitioner of Christianity-the act of giving back can be exclusive. Our objective is working towards simplifying this idea of exclusiveness-we believe all people are deserving of aid, and support. We as a Non-Profit working with other Christian Orthodox college students are hoping to expand our religion within borders. Not just our own people; Eritrean/Ethiopian Population-we want to be helpers of all peoples.
Becoming a Non-Profit Organization
Our last objective is to truly transform into a trustworthy organization in Seattle, WA. In performing and providing our 160 volunteering staff, fellowship guidance within our partners( OTYG), and projects throughout the year in which will work to help the Homeless population of Seattle, and the greater area we pray upon god to transform our online-organization into a settled NON-PROFIT organization within King County. In-order to perform this objective we will need the works of our supporters within all parties to truly believe, pray, and help us in every way-as a NON-PROFIT organization is nothing without the help of a community.
